Built by a payment gateway, for restaurants that want to own their orders
Rapid Eats is made in Karachi by RapidPay, whose RapidGateway payment gateway is behind Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa and card acceptance for businesses across the country. We built it because the restaurants we settle money for kept asking the same question: why does someone else own my customer?
Origin
Where Rapid Eats comes from
RapidGateway processes payments for Pakistani businesses — Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa, cards and payouts. Restaurants were some of our busiest merchants, and the pattern was always the same: a marketplace listing that took a commission on every order, a WhatsApp number drowning in screenshots of menus and transfer receipts, and an accountant trying to match bank entries to orders at the end of the month.
We already had the hard part — the gateway, the settlement engine and the bank relationships. What restaurants needed on top was an ordering layer that lived where their customers already were, took no commission, and produced books that balance. That layer is Rapid Eats.

Mission
Let restaurants own their customers and their cash flow
Every order should leave the restaurant with the customer’s name and number, the full order value, and a settlement line that matches. Not a commission deducted, not a customer who belongs to an app, not a spreadsheet of guesses.
Why WhatsApp
Because that is where Pakistan already orders
Pakistani customers already send their orders on WhatsApp — a voice note, a photo of the menu with circles on it, a bank transfer screenshot. Restaurants already answer there. Asking people to download yet another app, or to leave the chat to pay on a website, loses orders at every step.
Rapid Eats keeps the whole order in the chat: full menu, cart, address, and a secure RapidGateway payment link for Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa or cards — or cash on delivery. It runs on Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, so it works on any phone that runs WhatsApp, with no app to install.
Principles
Three things we will not compromise on
No commission
A flat monthly subscription in PKR. We do not take a percentage of your orders, so our fee does not grow when your sales do. Standard RapidGateway payment rates apply on online payments and are stated in your merchant agreement.
Money you can reconcile
Because the gateway is ours, every online payment is matched to its order automatically and COD is tracked per rider. Exports go straight to your accountant. If the books do not balance, that is our bug, not your problem.
Works on any phone
Customers order on the WhatsApp they already have. Riders use a light app that runs on an entry-level Android. Owners manage from a browser or a phone. No tablets to buy, no hardware to maintain.
