POS & KDS
A counter POS and kitchen display that share one order queue with WhatsApp and delivery
Coming soonDine-in, takeaway, WhatsApp and website orders should not live on four different screens. Rapid Eats POS & KDS will put the counter and the kitchen on the same queue as every other channel, with payments and reconciliation already built in. Join the waitlist to be first in line.
- Counter POS on an Android tablet or any browser, no proprietary hardware
- Kitchen display with ticket timers, station routing and bump-to-complete
- Dine-in, takeaway, WhatsApp and website orders in one queue
- Same Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa, card and cash handling as every other channel
What you get
Everything inside POS & KDS
Counter POS on hardware you already own
Runs on an Android tablet or a browser on the PC at the counter. Add a Bluetooth receipt printer and a cash drawer if you want them. There is no locked-down terminal to buy and no engineer visit to set it up.
One menu, including the POS
The same menu, modifiers and prices that power the WhatsApp bot and the website will power the POS. Change the price of a karahi once and the counter, the bot and the storefront agree instantly.
Kitchen display that replaces the ticket spike
Orders from every channel appear on a kitchen screen with a timer, colour-coded by how long they have been waiting. Tap to start, tap to bump. Route grill items to the grill screen and tandoor items to the tandoor.
Payments at the counter, reconciled like everything else
Take cash, or show a QR for a secure RapidGateway payment via Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa or card. Counter payments will land in the same settlement view as WhatsApp and website payments, so the end-of-day count is one number.
Table and takeaway basics without the bloat
Tables, split bills, a parked order for the customer who stepped out to the ATM, and a pickup number called out when the KDS bumps the ticket. The essentials a busy Pakistani restaurant uses every evening, not a 400-feature enterprise suite.
Works through load-shedding
The POS will queue orders and payments locally when the connection drops and sync the moment it returns. A power cut on a Saturday night should not mean a paper notebook and a reconciliation headache on Sunday.
How it works
Live in days, not quarters
- 1
Join the waitlist
Tell us about your counter setup and how many kitchen stations you run. Early-access restaurants help shape the first release.
- 2
We onboard your other channels first
WhatsApp ordering, your website, riders and reconciliation are live today. Your menu and customers will already be in place when POS arrives.
- 3
Switch the POS on
When your spot in the early-access programme opens, the POS and KDS attach to the queue you are already running. No migration.
Who it is for
Built for how Pakistani restaurants actually run
The restaurant with a dine-in POS that knows nothing about WhatsApp
Online orders are re-typed into the old POS so the kitchen sees them. A shared queue removes the re-typing and the errors that come with it.
The kitchen running on paper tickets and shouting
A KDS with timers and station routing means the grill knows what is coming before the runner arrives, and nothing falls off the spike.
The owner who wants one daily number
Counter cash, counter QR payments, WhatsApp payments and COD, all in one settlement view, so closing the day is a glance rather than a calculation.
Frequently asked questions
When will POS & KDS be available?
POS & KDS is in development and will roll out to waitlisted restaurants first. We do not publish a launch date until it is certain; joining the waitlist is the fastest way to hear when early access opens.
Can I use Rapid Eats now without the POS?
Yes, and most restaurants should. WhatsApp ordering, the branded website, rider dispatch, loyalty and reconciliation are all live today. The POS will attach to the same menu and order queue when it ships.
What hardware will it need?
An Android tablet or any modern browser for the counter, and a tablet or an inexpensive screen for the kitchen. Receipt printers and cash drawers will be optional. We will publish a short list of tested devices available in Pakistan before launch.
Will it replace my existing POS?
That is the goal for restaurants whose current POS is mainly a billing screen. If you rely on a specialised POS, the first release may run alongside it; tell us which system you use when you join the waitlist so we can prioritise accordingly.
Will counter payments be reconciled with the rest?
Yes. Counter cash and QR payments through RapidGateway will appear in the same settlement view as WhatsApp, website and COD orders, with the same CSV and Excel export.
Join the POS & KDS waitlist
