Delivery & Riders
Dispatch your own riders, track every drop, reconcile every rupee of COD
Your riders are the last mile of your brand. Rapid Eats gives them a simple Android app, gives you a dispatch board, gives the customer a live status in their WhatsApp chat, and makes sure the cash a rider collects matches the orders they delivered.
- Rider app for Android with one-tap accept, navigate and mark delivered
- Automatic or manual assignment by zone, load and distance
- Customer sees “out for delivery” and “delivered” in the same WhatsApp chat
- COD collection reconciled against the order, rider by rider, shift by shift
What you get
Everything inside Delivery & Riders
A rider app that works on any Android phone
Accept, call the customer, open the pin in Google Maps, mark delivered, record the cash. Large buttons, Urdu-friendly layout, and it keeps working through a patchy signal in a Karachi underpass, syncing when the connection comes back.
Assignment that matches how your shift actually runs
Auto-assign by delivery zone and current load, or drag an order onto a rider from the dispatch board. Batch two nearby orders in Gulberg onto one bike. Riders see the queue so nobody stands idle while another is stacked.
Live status the customer can see
When a rider taps “picked up”, the customer’s WhatsApp thread gets “Ali is on the way”. When they tap “delivered”, it closes the loop. Your counter stops fielding “kahan hai?” calls, and the rider stops fielding them too.
COD collection, reconciled not trusted
Every cash order is tied to a rider and an amount. At shift end the console shows what each rider should hand in, what they marked collected, and any gap. Short-changing and honest mistakes both surface the same day instead of at month end.
Zones, fees and cut-off times
Draw delivery zones on a map, set a delivery fee per zone, and set a minimum order and a cut-off time. Clifton gets a PKR fee, Korangi gets another, and an address outside the zones is politely refused before the kitchen starts cooking.
Shift reports you can read in a minute
Deliveries per rider, average time from pickup to delivered, late drops and cash variance, per shift and per branch. Enough to know who to reward on Eid bonus day and which zone needs one more bike on Friday nights.
How it works
Live in days, not quarters
- 1
Order is accepted
The counter accepts the order in the console. The system already knows the zone, the fee and whether it is prepaid or COD.
- 2
A rider is assigned
Auto-assignment picks the best available rider, or the dispatcher drags it over. The rider gets a push notification with the address pin and the cash amount, if any.
- 3
Delivered and reconciled
The rider marks delivered, the customer gets the WhatsApp update, and the COD amount is logged against the order for the shift-end cash count.
Who it is for
Built for how Pakistani restaurants actually run
The restaurant with four riders and a notebook
Cash handed over at midnight, counted from memory. The rider app and the shift-end reconciliation replace the notebook, and the owner can check the day’s cash position from home.
The cloud kitchen running three brands from one kitchen
Orders for all three brands dispatch from one board and one rider pool. The customer only ever sees the brand they ordered from, while the kitchen sees a single queue.
The chain with a rider pool per branch
Each branch dispatches its own riders inside its own zones, while head office compares delivery times and COD variance across branches from one console. A rider can be moved to a busier branch for the evening with one tap.
Frequently asked questions
Do riders need a particular phone?
Any Android phone from the last several years with Google Maps installed. The app is lightweight and tolerates slow data, and a rider can be onboarded by scanning a QR code from the console.
How does COD reconciliation actually work?
Each cash order carries an expected amount. When the rider marks it delivered, they confirm the cash collected. At shift end the console lists every rider’s expected total, collected total and any variance, and the same figures feed the settlement view alongside online payments.
Can customers track the rider on a map?
Customers get status updates in WhatsApp (accepted, preparing, out for delivery, delivered) with the rider’s name and a call button, which is what most people actually want to know. Your dispatch board shows each rider’s last reported location; customers see the status, not a map.
What if I do not have my own riders yet?
Start with pickup only. Customers still order and pay through WhatsApp or your website, and the console tells them when the food is ready. When you hire your first rider, switch on delivery zones and the rider app without changing anything the customer sees.
Does it handle multiple branches?
Yes. Each branch has its own zones, riders and dispatch board. Head office sees all of them in one console, including per-branch COD positions.
See a delivery go from order to cash count
In the demo we assign a test order to a rider app on your phone, watch the WhatsApp status update, and close the shift with a reconciled COD total.
