Cafés & bakeries
Pre-orders, pickup and cake bookings that pay before the oven turns on
Cafés and bakeries sell small tickets often, and big tickets in advance. Rapid Eats handles both: a WhatsApp bot that takes the 8 am cappuccino pre-order and a cake booking for Saturday with a secure RapidGateway payment link, plus loyalty points that reward the customer who comes in every single morning.
The problem
What is quietly costing you money today
Cake orders live in DMs and get lost
Custom cake requests arrive on Instagram, WhatsApp and the phone, each with a photo, a date and a message to write on top. Details slip, a deposit is agreed verbally, and a no-show on Saturday leaves a PKR-heavy cake unsold.
The morning queue is the ceiling on sales
Office workers in Islamabad F-7 or Lahore Gulberg skip the queue when it stretches out of the door. Every person who walks past at 8:30 am is a coffee you did not sell.
Regulars are not rewarded, so they are not loyal
The customer who comes in daily and the one who came once get the same experience. A paper stamp card gets lost in a wallet, and nobody knows how many regulars quietly stopped coming.
What changes
What Rapid Eats does differently
Cake bookings with the deposit paid upfront
The bot collects the size, flavour, message, pickup date and a reference photo, then sends a secure RapidGateway link for the deposit or the full amount. The booking is on your console calendar with everything the decorator needs.
Pre-order and skip the queue
Customers order the flat white and the croissant on WhatsApp from the car, pay by JazzCash or Raast, and get a “ready” message when the KDS bumps it. The queue shrinks and the morning revenue grows.
Loyalty points that live in WhatsApp
Points for every coffee, a free one when the balance hits the threshold, shown in the chat the customer already uses. No app, no card, and a quiet “we miss you” nudge when a regular has not been in for two weeks.
Small tickets, clean books
Hundreds of small payments a day across wallets, cards and cash reconcile automatically in the settlement view, so the end-of-day count takes a minute. Standard RapidGateway payment rates apply.

Frequently asked questions
Can the bot handle custom cake details like photos and messages?
Yes. A cake item can ask for size, flavour, the message to pipe on top, a pickup date and time, and an optional reference photo. Everything is attached to the order in the console so the decorator never has to scroll back through a chat.
Can I take a deposit rather than the full amount?
Yes. Set a deposit percentage or a fixed amount per item or category. The bot sends a secure RapidGateway link for the deposit, and the balance is collected at pickup by cash or a second link.
Do I need delivery riders for a café?
No. Most cafés and bakeries use Rapid Eats for pickup and pre-orders only. Delivery can be switched on later for cakes and party orders without changing anything else.
Can pickup slots be limited so the kitchen is not swamped?
Yes. Set how many orders each 15-minute pickup slot can hold per branch. When a slot is full the bot offers the next one, which keeps the 8:30 am rush manageable and the coffee hot.
